Glad to be able to illustrate the #feb.2024 issue of "Orizont Magazine", published by the Union of Writers of Romania.
Founded in 1949 under the title Scrisul bănăţean, the magazine transformed into a cultural weekly magazine in 1972, jointly edited by the County Council for Culture and Socialist Education and the Union of Writers of Romania. In December 1989, it became the first literary magazine in Romania to be published under conditions of freedom (on the 24th of December 1989). Since January 1990, following the disappearance of one of its editors, the magazine has been published weekly by the Union of Writers of Romania. Starting in 1993, its issues have been released monthly. Given its historical context and tradition, Orizont stands out as a literary-cultural magazine with a distinct profile in the Romanian publishing landscape.
